Blaine Kia, the Man born in 1963, is a multi-tasking, multi-talented individual.  Part of  this new generation of young Hawaiians pushing and creating new boundaries while helping to perpetuate all that is Hawaii and Hawaiiana.

Blaine Kia, the Teacher has his foundation on the teachings of the late Darrell ’Ihi’ihilauakea Lupenui, the late John Kaimiikaua and the widely renown Frank Kawaikapuokalani Hewett.
Today, he is the one who leads and inspires young dancers through Hawaii, California, Montana, Japan and Tahiti. The leader to 1400 dancers in the Pacific and North American
Coast.

Blaine Kia, the Creative Artist, has been in the entertainment industry for more then 25 years.  In these years, he has acted, danced, sung and produced.  Since  1997, he has put out 5 CD’s having written many of the songs.

Blaine Kia, the Cultural Consultant, has with his solid foundation in dance and his keen awareness in the arts has been sought for his advice and direction by many in our island community.  He has work with the likes of the Bishop museum, Kauai Historical Society, Queen Lili’uokalani Children’s Center, and Outrigger Hotels to name a few.
