Maika'i no Kaua'i. Hemolele i ka malie. Kuahiwi Wai'al'ale. Lei ana i ka mokihana. So beautiful is Kaua'i. So perfect in the calm. Mount Wai'ale'ale wears the mokihana lei.
Hula imitates nature, movement, life. It is an oral tradition. It accounts for things that have happened, are happening, and things that will someday come to past. As ka po`e hula, it is our honor and privilege to share these stories. So we look to the source. Be one with nature. Dance from within. It is our desire and kuleana to perpetuate the culture through hula. Eo Ka Waikahe Lani Mālie!!!
